1. Vice-Chancellor
Role: The VC is the chief executive officer of the HSA and his/her principal role is to provide leadership to the academy’s core functions of academics, administration, research, and resource mobilization.
Qualifications and Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience at a similar level from an internationally recognized university or academic institute of higher learning. Eminent academic or distinguished administrator with a proven track record of institution building, attaining academic excellence, and management acumen. Preferably possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Public Health or a related field from an internationally or nationally recognized university approved by HEC. 15 years of teaching/research or management leadership positions experience in the relevant field OR 10 years post-Ph.D. teaching/research or management leadership positions experience in a recognized university or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization. Not more than 60 years (on December 1, 2022.
