In order to plead/pursue the Court / Litigation cases of District Council Bahawalnagar in Higher Courts / Lower Courts / other forums, District Council, Bahawalnagar is required to invite applications regarding the appointment of Legal Advisor for District Council, Bahawalnagar as per procedure provided in the appointment of Legal Advisors Rules,2003. So applications are invited from the eligible candidates (Advocates) for their appointment as Legal Advisor in District Council, Bahawalnagar for a period of two (02) years. The prescribed Qualification, duration of the appointment, and other terms & conditions as specified under:-

Positions Announced:

1. Legal Advisor

A Legal Advisor shall be an Advocate who has been practicing as such for not less than 5 Years immediately before the last date fixed for the receipt of applications for appointment as Legal Advisor. 2. A candidate having experience as a Legal Advisor in other Departments will be preferred.

Tenure: The tenure of the Legal Advisor will be for Two (2) Years. The Office of the so-appointed Legal Advisor will stand vacated on the expiry of the term for which he has been appointed.

Salary Package: The Legal Advisor will be paid such remuneration as may be fixed by the Government of the Punjab which shall be as salary as well as TA/DA if permissible under Rules. Short-listed candidates shall be called for an interview.
