Positions Announced:
1. Chief Executive Officer
Profile: Self-motivated professional with proven leadership and management skills combined with the ability to effectively initiate strategy and directions set by the Board of Directors. Fully conversant with the petroleum industry and its local & international dynamics. Excellent public-relations skills for networking with all stakeholders and external professional collaborators — must possess proven rapport with relevant Government hierarchy. Leads from the front with creativity and agility, possessing the foresight to identify energy challenges and emerging trends. Possesses expertise in working with institutions and donor agencies to mobilize resources. Must meet criteria specified by SECP. Maximum 62 years on the date of the publication of this advertisement.
Qualification / Experience: Minimum 20 years in the petroleum industry with at least 10 years in senior management positions and 3 years in a leadership role. Diverse experience in strategy/corporate planning/business development would be preferred. B.Sc. (Engineering), CA, MBA, equivalent or higher from a reputable HEC recognized institution. Multiple qualifications in economics, finance, relevant sciences, or engineering would be preferred.
2. Manager Finance & Company Secretary
Profile: Ability to independently manage accounts, budget preparation, cost control, financial reporting, tax returns, and dealing with banks. Current knowledge of relevant financial, accounting, and audit standards as well as tax laws. Conversant with Corporate Secretary responsibilities including organizing corporate meetings and regulatory reporting, Companies Act 2017, SECP requirements, and Regulations applicable to NPOs. Secretary incumbency must have been reported to SECP. Preferably, 40 years on the date of the publication of this advertisement.
Qualification / Experience: Minimum 10 years including 5 years in the independent position of Finance and 3 years as Company Secretary in independent or concurrent terms with the Finance position. Computer literacy and competency in working with computerized accounting systems are mandatory. CA, ACCA, ICMA, MBA equivalent or higher from a reputable HEC recognized institution. Member of relevant professional institutions. Note: This will be a permanent position. Successful candidates would be offered a market-based remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates are required to provide a minimum of two references, at least one being professional, from unrelated persons.
