Positions Announced:
1. Director (Operations)
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor of Engineering in Civil discipline or equivalent. 15 years of relevant experience in reputed organizations. Having additional computer and communication skills, possessing merits of being a team leader, and problem solver. Job Description Responsible for the execution of the construction/ development activities and the development plans of ZDA. Serves as an advisor as well as answerable to the Managing Director on all the engineering works and carries out the overseeing responsibility. Complete the array of development tasks proposed by the planning wing of ZDA and make necessary adjustments as the work progresses. Handle operational issues and proposes solutions to the Managing Director. Implement sustainable urban planning systems and optimize the use of municipal lands. Identify Institutional, geographic, and economic barriers to infrastructure development and propose effective solutions to the board (for example the effect of infrastructure development in the case of areas vulnerable to natural calamities such as earthquakes, floods, etc). Well-versed in the Building Codes of Pakistan, International Building Codes, Highway Codes, and International standards. Interpret planning legislation policies to facilitate development In the city and produce advanced regulator and physical design recommendations. Assist construction engineers at the site and manage contractors and subcontractors on all the civil infrastructure work at various locations. Carry out the quantity and qualitative analysis of surveying data and other techniques using software/IT skills such as MS Office Complete Package, GIS, Arc View, MathCad, SAP, etc. Prepare activities chart, assess on-ground conditions, and deliver within the scheduled time frame. Liaise with consulting firms, private consultants, and private or public bodies (when directed by the Managing Director). Assist the Managing Director in scrutinizing the project documents and preparing working papers for approval of projects including roads, bridges, and development of similar infrastructure. The Director of Operations should make aware other team members of the effects of the engineering development on Zulfikarabad’s landscapes and area-specific construction after conducting site visits and fieldwork. Define and refine operational-related policies in the areas of infrastructure, Maintenance, and Services, and provides solid leadership congruent with the desires of ZDA,
