Positions Announced:
1. Directors
Ph.D. in a relevant subject from HEC recognized University/Institution. 15 years of teaching and research experience in an HEC-recognized University/Institution, or 10 years post-Ph.D. experience in the HEC-recognized University/Institution. 15 Publications in the relevant field with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals. The upper age limit must not exceed 55 years (Relaxable maximum by 2 years on the recommendation of the Selection Board. Candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply.
Conditions of the Appointment: The appointment of the Director will be made for a period of 4 years at BPS-20/21. If a candidate working in any outside institution applies and is found suitable for the post of Director may be appointed on a deputation basis as admissible under the Rules. The candidates who fulfill the criteria laid down for the post of Professor by HEC would be considered and appointed as Director at BPS-21. In case, no candidate meets the requirement prescribed for the post of Professor, then the candidate who fulfills the criteria set for the post of Associate Professor by the HEC would be considered and the selected candidate would be appointed as a Director at BPS-20. The incumbent will be eligible for re-appointment subject to his/her satisfactory performance in his/her first tenure. The incumbent will be allowed pay, usual allowance, and perquisites admissible under Rules to an Officer of BPS-21, or as the case may be for BPS-20.

The application processing fee is Rs. 10,000/- (non-refundable) in the shape of a Bank Demand Draft in favor of the Registrar, University of Sindh, Jamshoro for each application form or through Bank Challan deposited at Habib Bank Limited Sindh University Jamshoro or Habib Bank Limited Elsa Kazi Campus Hyderabad. The candidates are advised to submit their applications in the shape of 4 copies of the dossier along with CV detail of research publications in HEC-recognized journals in the relevant field, the latest photos, attested copies of degrees, certificates, and other credentials. The information provided in the CV must be supported with documentary proof. Applicants already in service should apply through the proper channels with N.O.C. issued by the competent authority of their parent department, otherwise, their application will not be accepted.
