Job Description:
One of the largest banks of the country is inviting applications against the following positions from professionals with the proven track record and capacity to perform as a catalyst for transformation in a challenging environment in the area of Islamic Banking. The individuals who fulfill the below-mentioned basic eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions:
Positions Vacant:
1. HEAD ISLAMIC BANKING TREASURY BACK OFFICE BASIC
Qualification / Experience required for the job: Minimum Graduate in relevant discipline from HEC recognized University! Institute.
Minimum 03 Years’ banking experience. experience of Treasury will be preferred.
Main Duties/ Responsibilities: To prepare and follow up on deal confirmation with other Banks. To maintain the Operational compliance in the FX and money market transactions. To settle the Money Market Transaction through Depox-and RTGS. To prepare and post vouchers and RBV’s for RTGS and general entries as per system requirements. To maintain the deposits and withdrawal of SBP and other Bank Accounts. To balance daily all GL Heads pertaining to Money Market, Wakala and all other Islamic Banking product transactions.
2. SETTLEMENT OFFICER
Qualification / Experience required for the job: Minimum Graduate in relevant discipline from HEC recognized University / Institute. Minimum 05 Years’ banking experience. experience of Treasury / Islamic will be preferred.
Duties/ Responsibilities: To supervise Islamic Banking – Treasury Operations Wing in compliance with SBP Regulations. To devise strategic policies and set the future objectives/achievements of the Wing while developing new treasury products settlement procedures & controls in coordination with Treasury Management Group. To ensure secrecy of the System Passwords & full compliance of the “Code of Conduct” as per directives in SBP OMMD Circular No.1 of 2014 & ensuring compliance of the “Treasury Policy” and “Treasury Procedure Manual” related to TOPSW. To ensure time-efficient & error-free settlement of all types of deals – Money Market, Sukook, FX, High-Value Inter-Bank/Inter-Branch for both Money Market & Foreign Exchange transactions, deals/transactions in Primary & Secondary Market and Interest Rate Corridor deals with SBP.
