Positions Announced:
1. Assistant Company Secretary
Manage Shares department of the company and liaise with the Share Registrar for effective resolution of shareholders’ matters including but not limited to the transmission of dividends, transfer, and transmission of shares, etc. Liaise and correspond with shareholders in order to maintain effective investor relations. Timely and accurate maintenance of statutory books/registers as required by law. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, 2017, Securities Act, 2015, Corporate Governance Rules and Regulations, Secretarial Practices, Company’s Memorandum, and Articles of Association and effecting any changes to meet the needs of the company. Liaise and correspond with Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX), SECP, CDC, submit forms, returns, and any information related to the company’s corporate matters ensuring that the statutory deadlines are met and the statutory and regulatory disclosures are validated particularly in relation to the statements given on Corporate Governance standards and practices within the company. Closely monitor and remain abreast with development in Corporate Governance, Company Law, Secretarial laws and practices, and SECP, PSX, and CDC Rules / Regulations to facilitate and assist the Board and the Management with respect to the execution of their duties and responsibilities.
Eligibility: Member of a recognized body of professional accountants; Member of a recognized body of Corporate or Chartered Secretaries; or Masters in Business Administration or Commerce or a Law Graduate from HEC recognized university with at least five years of relevant experience. Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization at an equivalent position or in a middle management position in a related functional role. Drafting Skills, Communication, and Interpersonal Skills along with knowledge of Company Law and relevant Rules and Regulations. The candidate should not be more than 45 years of age as of the last date of submission of the application.
