Health Department (Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department) Government of Punjab is extending 24-hour emergency services at Basic Health Units to expecting women under an Integrated Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child Health & Nutrition Program in addition to providing free treatment to malnourished children in district hospitals. In this regard. under an Integrated Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child Health & Nutrition Program Punjab the recruitment of Lady Health Visitors and Charge Nurses shall be done through walk-in-interview. All recruitments shall be as per approved contract policy 2004 of the Government. Relaxation in upper age limit shall be 8 years as per government pre-scribed rules. Candidates of the concerned district shall be given preference. No TA/DA shall be given to candidates coming for interview. Handicapped and minorities’ quota shall be as per government rules. All vacancies shall be on temporary and contract basis. Initial contract shall be for one year extendable on the basis of performance. Positions Vacant:
1. Lady Health Visitor (LHV)
Qualification / Experience: F.Sc at least 2 division from a recognized board and two-year lady health visitor diploma from govt. recognized public health nursing school and valid registration with Pakistan Nursing Council Islamabad is a must. In case of non-availability of candidates with the aforementioned educational qualification. Matric (Science) from a recognized board and two-year lady health visitor diploma from govt. recognized public health nursing school and valid registration with Pakistan Nursing Council Islamabad is a must.
2. Charge Nurse
Qualification / Experience: B.Sc Nursing (four years) (generic), and valid registration with Pakistan Nursing Council Islamabad is a must. Or Diploma in nursing. nurses having work experience in the Children ward shall be preferred. Valid registration with Pakistan Nursing Council Islamabad is a must.
