Positions Vacant:
1. Vice-Chancellor
Responsibilities: The Vice-Chancellor reports to the Senate and to the Chancellor of the University and ensures compliance with the provisions of the Ordinance, Statutes, Regulations, and Rules of the University. S(he) leads the development of the university through scholarship, provides a conducive environment for research, and improves the academic standing of the institution including the commitment to promote Urdu as a medium of instruction.
Qualification / Experience required for the job: The applicant/nominee should possess a Ph.D. degree recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), at least 15 years of overall experience in Academics, Administration and Research from HEC recognized University or Post Graduate Institute and at least 15 publications (at least 3 in last 5 years) in journals of standing recognized by the HEC. 5(he) should have demonstrated leadership experience at an academic institution of higher learning and should not be more than 65 years of age on 31st August 2020.
