Positions Vacant:
1. SUPERVISOR VALVE TESTING & MACHINE SHOP
Eligibility criteria: Should have hands-on supervisory experience of Machine Shop, Valve Testing and Repairing Shop. Responsibilities include supervision of machine shop, valve testing & repairing shop, dismantling, repairing, overhauling, testing, calibration & fitting of all kinds of valves including PSVs & PRVs. taking all kinds of measurements including run-out of rotors. using precision tools, use of all kinds of machine tools, drilling machine and rotor balancing machine, etc. Should be able to read & interpret manufacturing drawings & equipment sectional drawings.
2. SUPERVISOR WELDING & FABRICATION
Eligibility criteria: Should have hands-on supervisory experience in welding and fabrication jobs. Responsibilities include supervision of welding and fabrication works, estimation of materials & welding consumables required, preparation of BOQs, reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings, isometrics, piping plans. good understanding of welding procedures, engineering materials, and special materials like Inconel, Monel, SS., etc, ratification of equipment regarding welding & fabrication works. Any special training/ certification of welding (preferably piping & plate welding) will be an added advantage.
Qualification and experience required for the following vacant positions: Candidates for both positions should be DAE (Mechanical) with a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience and must be conversant with International Codes & Standards (like API, ASME, ANSI, AWS, etc.). Both positions require repair & maintenance work experience in the workshop as well as on the running plant, in a refinery, petrochemical, or fertilizer industrial complex. The positions also require thorough knowledge and understanding of the Permit to Work (PTW) system, safety procedures, job safety analysis, and emergency response system. Should have good communication and supervisory skills.
