1. Procurement Engineer
Qualification required for the following vacant position: The candidate should have BSc (Mechanical Engineering / B.Tech (Mech)
Experience required for the following vacant position: The candidate should have 5 – 10 years of experience.
Age limit required for the following vacant positions: The age limit required for the following position is 35 – 50 years.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Experience in engineering, procurement, and operations Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze bills of material and drawings to understand key requirements Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating contracts and quotations with Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers Expediting of the fabrication activities, Monitoring of fabrication schedules & fabrication progress. Coordination of progress meeting with vendors. Coordination of all the necessary activities to carry out a low-cost project, including all phases as scope, design, permitting, financing, contracting, procurement and construction Preparing RFQs, TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation), CBE (Commercial Bid Evaluation)Liaise with the project team and external vendors (Local & International) to ensure that the equipment/parts and materials are met within project’s specification and budget /Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices Receiving of bids and preparation of commercial bid summary to arrive at a Purchasing strategy Arrange Pre-award technical meetings involving the Engineering, Project Manager and Supplier representatives to freeze the technical requirement. Responsible for advantageous sourcing of Local and Foreign vendors and updating data bank
