Positions Announced:
1. Chief Information Technology Officer
Major Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive information technology policy and strategy that supports the LESCO’s objectives and goals. Oversee the management of LESCO’s information systems, including hardware, software, and data centers. Provide IT Support to ERP and other digital automation technologies. Work with other directorates of LESCO to integrate technology into their operations and processes. Ensure the security and availability of Information systems and data, including implementing cybersecurity measures. Manage the IT budget and allocate resources effectively to support the effective delivery of technology initiatives. Maintain a close liaison with PITC and any other vendors for deployment and development of applications designed and developed by them. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends and make recommendations for new technologies that can benefit the Company. Ensure that technology solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. Build and manage a high-performing IT team. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and regulators.
Academic Qualification:
Master’s/Bachelor’s (Hons) Degree or any other equivalent qualification in the field of Computer Sciences, Information Technology/ Software Engineering equivalent to 16 years of education from HEC recognized University/ Institution. Furthermore, applicants with prestigious professional certifications in IT & Management, such as PMP, CISM, CITM, and ITMLP will be an added advantage.
