Positions Announced:
1. Chairperson STZA
Qualification / Experience required for the following position and job: Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration, Management Science, Technology Management, Social Sciences, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Public Policy, Public Administration, or related areas, from a well-reputed university recognized by the HEC. Additional qualifications in relevant areas are a plus. At least 20 years of working experience, including the following: Minimum 5 years experience in leading reputable organizations, at C-Level preferably with exposure to both public and private sectors. Demonstrated experience in the Science and Technology Sector/Technology Industry or in Governance/Regulatory/Strategic roles within Pakistan or abroad would be Preferred. Experience in managing budgets, resources, and operations of a sizable organization or department Involvement in shaping technology policies at the national or international level would be highly advantageous and is a plus.
Familiarity with public sector financing, procurement processes, and compliance requirements is desirable. Experience working with or in international environments, demonstrating an understanding of global best practices in technology and innovation ecosystems is a plus. Experience in attracting investment in technology sector through private equity or VC is a plus. Private sector candidates are encouraged to apply.
