The Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, represented by the Government of Balochistan, has received a loan (Cr: No: 5885-PAK) from the International Development Association towards the cost of the Balochistan Integrated Water Resource Management and Development Project (BIWRMDP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments for hiring the services of the following specialist to work with the Project Management Unit as an individual Consultant. The Government of Balochistan, represented by the Project Director. Positions Vacant:
1. Water Resource Specialist
Qualification / Experience required for the job: Master s degree (at least eighteen years of education) in irrigation/ water resources engineering’ water resource management: Minimum fifteen (15) years experience in the water sector particularly in the design and management of dams, flood, and perennial irrigation projects: Exhibit a very good familiarity and knowledge of water, irrigation and drainage policies, strategies and laws of Babchistan Province and possess prior experience in contributing to policy review and design and incapacity assessment; Knowledge or experience in successful water policies elsewhere would be an added advantage. Possess good interpersonal skills, capacity to work with teams and organize stakeholder consultations.
