The GIZ ‘Strengthening Education and Health Services for Afghan Refugees and Host Communities’ project aims to support Pakistani partners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to strengthen access to public education and health services in refugee-hosting communities. The project’s focus is to strengthen sector governance in education and health, and support co-operation between (Chief) Commissioner for Afghan Refugees (CCAR/CAR) and subnational government structures. In line with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) and the principle ‘Leave No One Behind’ (LNOB), the project will support partners to improve access to public services for vulnerable groups, including Afghan refugees, women, youth, and persons with disabilities. Project activities will be implemented in three selected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with a significant presence of Afghan refugees.

Qualifications and Experience required for the following vacant position and job: At least a Master’s degree in an area that is related to the project objectives, or any other relevant field. At least 10 years of professional relevant experience, with at least 5 years professional experience with management responsibilities. Work experience in the education and/or health sectors and governance. Work experience with vulnerable groups, including Afghan refugees, women, youth, and/or persons with disabilities is an asset
