Job Description:

Peshawar Institute of Cardiology MTI KPK invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates to fill the following vacant posts.

Positions Vacant:

1. Cardiologist

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Applicants must have FCPS with fellowship or equivalent training in cardiology, or MRCP with cardiology specialty training or US cardiology subspecialty Board certification, CCT, or other equivalent qualifications in the specialty recognized/registered by the PMDC. Preference will be given to applicants familiar with the latest techniques in the specialty and experience working with a complete state of the art facilities in a modern reputable institution.

2. Anesthesiology

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Applicants must have FCPS in Anaesthesia, FRCA, or Certificate of the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), CCT, or other equivalent qualifications in the specialty recognized/registered by the PMDC. Preference will be given to applicants familiar with the latest techniques in anesthesia and experience working in Cardiac Anaesthesia, General Anaesthesia, Paediatric Anaesthesia, ICU cover with a modern reputable state of the art hospital.

3. Cardiac Surgeons

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Applicants must have FCPS with fellowship or equivalent training in cardiac surgery, or FRCS with cardiac surgery specialty training or US cardiac surgery subspecialty Board certification, CCT, or other equivalent qualifications in the specialty recognized/registered by the PMDC. Preference will be given to applicants familiar with the latest techniques in the specialty and experience working with a complete state of the art facilities in a modern reputable institution.

4. Intensive Care Physicians

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Applicants must have FCPS in intensive care, or MRCP with specialty training in intensive care, or US Board certification in intensive care, CCT, or other equivalent qualifications in the specialty recognized/registered by the PMDC. Preference will be given to applicants familiar with the latest techniques in intensive care and experience working in a modern reputable state of the art intensive care unit.

5. Pathologist

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Applicants must have FCPS in Pathology, or a Ph.D. in one of the Pathology subspecialties, or FRCPath, or US Board certification in Pathology or other equivalent qualifications in the specialty recognized/registered by the PMDC. Preference will be given to applicants familiar with the latest techniques in pathology and laboratory medicine and experience working in a modern reputable state of the art pathology department.

6. Radiologist

Qualification / Experience required for the job: Applicants must have FCPS in radiology, or FRCR with specialty training, or US Board certification in radiology or other equivalent qualifications in the specialty recognized/registered by the PMDC. Preference will be given to applicants familiar with the latest techniques and equipment in radiology and experience working in a modern reputable state of the art radiology department with access/training on the latest radiology instruments.
