Job Description:
Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) has been established under Section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984. The company established with a vision to establish an efficient, transparent, responsive, sustainable, and integrated Solid Waste Management system in Faisalabad. FWMC is inviting applications from the suitable candidates for appointment as a part-time Legal Advisor for a period of two years on a monthly fixed retainership fee basis:-

1. Legal Advisor
Qualification and Experience: B.A, LL.B enrolled as an Advocate of High Court and has been actively practicing as Advocate for a period of not less than five years immediately before the closing date.
Duties and Remuneration: a) To tender legal Advice b) To appear before the Honorable Court (Labour Court, Civil Court, Session Court, High Court, etc.) in all types of cases and legal proceedings on behalf of the Faisalabad Waste Management Company. c) To prepare the draft of para-wise comments for vetting from the office of Advocate General and other concerned Department.
Remuneration: The Legal Advisor shall be offered a maximum fixed lump sum retainership fee ranging from Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000/- (depending upon years of experience as an active Advocate High Court) inclusive of all taxes on monthly basis and shall not be paid on case to case basis which shall be fixed by the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Punjab.
Procedure and Tenure: a) The Legal Advisor shall be appointed for two (02) years by the Selection Committee constituted by the Government in accordance with the instructions contained in letter No. Gen:2-1/2008/1941 dated 14th May 2011 of the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Punjab in respect of Engagement of Legal Advisor and Special advocate by Statutory / Autonomous Bodies under the administrative control of the Govt. of Punjab, on such terms & conditions as the Committee may fix and subject to the procedure given in the instructions, shall be eligible for re-appointment. b) However, the services of a Legal Advisor may, at any time be dispensed with by the Govt. under intimation to the Department concerned subject to one month’s notice or a Legal Advisor may give up his appointment likewise.
