Job Description:
Agriculture Department Government of Punjab invites applications from eligible persons (Male/Female) domiciled in Punjab for recruitment on contract basis in the ADP Project No.4852 entitled “Development of Hybrids and OPVs in Vegetables Resilient to Climate Change” at the following Vegetable Research Stations at Sahiwal and Karor District Layyah under Research Wing of Agriculture Department.
Positions Vacant:
1. Botanist
Basic Pay Scale / Grade: (BPS-18+165)
The number of vacant posts: Sahiwal = 1, Karor Layyah = 1
Age limit required for the job: The maximum age limit required for the job is up to 45 years.
Qualification / Experience required for the job: M.Sc. Agriculture, PB&G 10 years Research experience
2. Assistant Botanist
Basic Pay Scale / Grade: (BPS-18)
The number of vacant posts: Sahiwal = 1, Karor Layyah = 3
Age limit required for the job: The maximum age limit required for the job is up to 40 years.
Qualification / Experience required for the job: M.Sc. Agriculture, PB&G 03 years Research experience
3. Assistant Research Officer (Plant Pathology)
Basic Pay Scale / Grade: (BPS-17)
The number of vacant posts: Sahiwal = 1, Karor Layyah = 1
Age limit required for the job: The maximum age limit required for the job is up to 30 years.
Qualification / Experience required for the job: M.Sc. Agriculture, PP
4. Assistant Research Officer
Basic Pay Scale / Grade: (BPS-17)
The number of vacant posts: Sahiwal = 6, Karor Layyah = 6
Age limit required for the job: The maximum age limit required for the job is up to 30 years.
Qualification / Experience required for the job: M.Sc. Agriculture. PB&G

The applications on prescribed form (which can be downloaded from www.agripunjab.gov.pk) may be addressed to the Secretary Agriculture, Government of the Punjab, Civil Secretariat, 2-Bank Road (Old P&D Building), Lahore clearly indicating the post applied for along with curriculum vitae (CV), three passport-size recent photographs and attested copies of all the relevant documents, CNIC/certificates/degrees, which include detailed marks certificates including CGPA, Hafiz-e-Quran Certificate, position in Board/ University, issued by the authorized Institute/Madrissa, release orders for ex-Servicemen, issued by the concerned authority/Institute and must reach by 24th February 2020. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered and only eligible candidates will be called for test/interview. No TA/DA shall be paid.
