Positions Announced:
1. Chief Nautical Surveyor, Pay Scale- MP-II DG-PSIS (01 Post)
Valid Certificate of Competency as Master of Foreign Going Ships. At least 03 years in command of foreign ships or two years for candidates with a B.Sc. (Technology in Maritime Studies). At least 01 year’s experience as a Nautical Surveyor in any Mercantile Marine Department of a country OR At least 03 years experience as a Surveyor in a recognized Classification Society(IASC)/ Surveyor in a sub-contracted company of a recognized Classification Society (IACS). OR At least 03 years experience as a Nautical Examiner of Masters and Mates in a Marine Academy/ College/ University of Australia, Singapore, or the United Kingdom. 62 years (to be calculated as of the closing date of submission of application in the light of MP Scale Policy, 2020)
Pay and allowances & other facilities shall be permissible under the MP Scale Policy, 2020 as approved by the Government from time to time.
