Position Vacant:
1, Chairman & Dean, Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore
Qualification: i. MBBS or equivalent qualification with higher postgraduate qualification i.e. Ph.D in case of Basic Sciences and FCPS, MRCP, FRCS, and American Board, etc in case of Clinical Sciences recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC). ii. Should be, or should have been, a Professor of Scientific and Medical repute in a Medical Institute. iii. Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Public Health and or Health Services Administration and or Medical Sciences will be preferred. Experience i. Being a Professor in the Medical Profession, 3 years of experience in hospital administration and management, preferably as head of a Medical Institution. ii. Minimum 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals of which at least 3 should be in international journals. Tenure The Selected candidate will be appointed for a tenure of three years on a contract basis, extendable for a further period not exceeding three years at a time but not beyond attaining the age of superannuation (60 years), on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Federal Government.
Age: Not more than 55 years
Emoluments: BPS-22 with fringe benefits as admissible to BS-22 Civil Servants.
