PSEB is seeking applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals to serve as Independent Directors on its Board of Directors. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and governance of a pivotal organization driving Pakistan’s technology sector forward.
Positions Announced:
1. Independent Director
Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a sixteen (16) years degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field from a HEC-recognized institution. Inclusion in the Databank of Independent Directors: Candidates must be listed in the Databank of Independent Directors notified by the SECP under section 166 of the Companies Act, 2017. Professional Experience: At least 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the !T/ITeS sector, public sector, or a multinational organization. Governance Experience: Candidate must possess at least three (03) years prior experience of serving on the board of directors of public or private sector organizations.
Fit and Proper Criteria: Candidates must meet the fit and proper criteria in accordance with Section 16 and Schedule IV of the SOEs, Act. 2023.
Gender representation: PSEB is committed to ensuring gender representation and balance in the age of directors to the board. Persons below the age of forty (40) and women meeting the criteria are encouraged to apply.
Age limit: The age should be between 35-70 years on the date of closure of applications.
