Job Description:
Islamia College Peshawar is looking for skilled. experienced and professional candidates on contract basis for the “English Access Microscholarship Program”. The program is for underprivileged students aged 13-16 years. Classes will be held in after school timing i.e. 3:00 to 5:00 pm, two days a week (Friday and Saturday).
Positions Vacant:
1. Access Coordinator
Qualification / Experience: Master’s in English Literature and Applied Five years of work experience in the academic sector, linguistics/Masters in ELT, or Post Graduate Diploma in ELT, with a minimum of five years teaching experience. Working knowledge of computer applications is mandatory. 5 years of work experience in the academic sector, excellent communication skills, an expert in public speaking, ability to evaluate classes, work collaboratively with various stakeholders including management of host institution, teachers and Access team members.
2. English Instructor / Teacher
Qualification / Experience: Master’s in English Literature and Applied linguistics/Masters in ELT, or Post Graduate Diploma in ELT, with a minimum 3 years of teaching experience. Basic knowledge of computer applications is mandatory.
At least 3 years of work experience in English teaching, excellent communication skills. Knowledge of students’ evaluation, material development, enhancement activity planning expertise in computer skills will be a plus.
