Job Description:
Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) seeks services of professionals through an open competitive process for the following vacant positions on contract basis as mentioned below:
Positions Vacant:
1. Deputy CEO / Chief Operating Officer
Qualification / Experience: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development Economics, or Public Administration / Social/ Management Sciences from an HEC recognized foreign or local university. Well-documented experience of 12 years in public, private or voluntary sector, at least 2 years of which must be in senior social protection/poverty alleviation positions in Pakistan. Experience of engaging with International development partners for Social Protection in Punjab will be a strong advantage.
2. Chief Financial Officer
Qualification / Experience: CA / ACCN ACMA / Master’s / MBA degree in Finance or equivalent qualifications from an HEC recognized foreign/local Institution. Ten years’ experience in financial management planning and Financial budgeting, part of which should be in public sector accounting and regulatory mechanisms. Ability to handle accounting software, databases and other IT related applications essential for the job. Demonstrated knowledge of large-scale beneficiary services, payments, financial modeling and grievance redressal mechanisms will be an added advantage.
3. Director (Programs)
Qualification / Experience: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development Economics or Public Administration / Social Management Sciences from an HEC recognized foreign or local university. Minimum 8 years’ relevant work experience, at least 03 of which should be in social protection program designing & implementation. Proficient in the use of MS office.
4. Director (Policy and Strategy)
Qualification / Experience: A Masters’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development or related Social Sciences from an HEC recognized foreign or local University. Well-documented experience of 8 years in the public or voluntary sector, at least 3 years of which should be in research and policy analysis roles. Proficient in the use of MS office and other quantitative and qualitative software. Candidates with publications in the area of poverty and policy with reputed publishers will have an added advantage.
5. Director Cash Transfer Program (CTP)
Qualification / Experience: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Economics or Public Administration / Social Management Sciences from an HEC recognized foreign or local university. Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, at least 03 years of which should be in managing cash transfer / social assistance programs. Proficient in the use of MS office
Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. No TA/DA is permissible for test/interview. In the case of selection, HEC verified Degrees shall be submitted. In the case of a foreign degree, HEC equivalence is essentially required. PSPA management reserves the right to withhold or terminate the recruitment process against any of the above-mentioned posts without assigning any reason.
