Positions Announced:

1. Executive Director (Ship Management)

A Marine Engineer holding 1st Class Certificate of Competency with at least 5 years sailing experience as Chief Engineer on Foreign going ships. Preference will be given to a candidate having. a) Masters’s degree in Business Management or equivalent from HEC recognized institute. b) 05 years of shore-based experience in Ship management including repairs, maintenance, dry docking, and procurement of ship stores/ spares and ship personnel in a large national or multinational organization. c) Experience in LNG loading & discharging and LNG vessel operation. d) Experience in leading environmental projects related to shipping emissions as per COP-26 targets.

2. Manager (Legal)

LLB, preferably LLM from HEC recognized institute or a foreign qualification in Law from a reputable institute also duly recognized by HEC. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in a reputable company / Law firm. Preference will be given to a candidate having a) Knowledge of Shipping Laws, Admiralty jurisdiction, and Merchant Shipping Ordinance, and well-versed in MLC-2006, SOLAS, STOW, International Procurement, and Law of the sea. International Arbitration also having updated knowledge of legislation on ship arrest registration under respective conventions_ b) Experience of Industrial relations particularly Marine Insurance matters. c) Experience in handling Legal matters of the shipping office, MMD, and Ministry of Maritime Affairs.
