Job Description:
The Directorate of Archaeology Govt of Kpk invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates for the following vacancies of Government sector project “ESTABLISHMENT OF ATC BRANCH IN THE DIRECTORATE OF ARCHAEOLOGY” on a contract basis. The candidates must have domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the following eligibility of terms & conditions.
Positions Vacant:
01. Assistant Director
Scale: BPS – 17
The number of vacant posts: 01 vacant post
Qualification / Experience: At least 2nd Class L.L.B. 3 years’ experience in Litigation.
Age limit: Up to 35 Years
02. Inspector of Antiquities
Scale: BPS – 16
The number of vacant posts: 04 vacant posts
Qualification / Experience: M. A Social Sciences (preferably M.A Archaeology). Physically sound. Minimum Height (5’8″)
Age limit: Up to 35 Years
03. Assistant
Scale: BPS – 16
The number of vacant posts: 01 vacant post
Qualification / Experience: B.A / B.Sc with proficiency in IT. 3-year experience in Govt. Organization/Semi Govt. Organization.
Age limit: Up to 30 Years
04. Computer Operator
Scale: BPS – 16
The number of vacant posts: 01 vacant post
Qualification / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a recognized University or Bachelor’s degree with one year I.T Diploma from a recognized board. Experience in data entry will be preferred. A Speed of 35 words per minute in English typing required.
Age limit: Up to 30 Years
05. Project Photographer
Scale: BPS – 12

Qualification / Experience: F.A from a recognized Board. 3-year experience in the relevant field.
Age limit: Up to 30 Years

Prescribed form shall be duly filled and fee shall be submitted in any of the given banks on fee receipt. A Candidate intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post with a separate fee. Information provided through the application form will be considered final for further processing. In case of any wrong information/credentials provided or not fulfilling any of the advertised criteria, the candidate can be excluded from the whole process (even after the test). The form should be submitted to NTS along with attested photocopies of CNIC, Domicile, Academic/Experience certificates. NTS test will serve for shortlisting purposes only. The post-test process will be applied by the department itself in accordance with prevailing rules for shortlisted candidates only.
