Positions Announced:
1. MANAGER AUDIT PRACTICE REVIEW Et SUPPORT PROGRAM (KARACHI/ LAHORE/ ISLAMABAD)
The position will be responsible to conduct reviews of audit firms in accordance with the APRSP framework, ensuring that firms carry out Audits, Assurance Er Related services in accordance with the Professional Standards adopted by the Institute, and supporting the firms to improve their quality of work. Review audit working paper files of audit firms. Prepare reports of the reviews conducted. Assist in preparation of agenda & minutes of the Committee. Carry out reviews of financial statements.
The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) preferably having at least 2 years post qualification experience with a firm of Chartered Accountants. He/she should have practical knowledge of International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards, and corporate laws.
2. MANAGER INVESTIGATION – KARACHI
The position will be responsible to perform an analysis of complaints registered against members/students in light of applicable laws, preparing analysis reports, and preparing agenda, and working papers for the meetings, and minutes of the proceedings of the Investigation Committee. Provide support in the implementation of decisions taken by the Committee regarding cases of professional misconduct, gather facts and information, and present the cases of professional misconduct to the Investigation Committee.
The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience. Candidates having an additional degree in Law from HEC recognized University/ Institute will be given preference.
3. ASSISTANT MANAGER CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT – KARACHI
The candidate will be responsible to plan and execute campaigns to generate engagement for professional development and carrying out research using a range of tools, identifying various trends, and exploring different avenues for professional development. Moreover, ensure quality conduct of the ICAPs flagship program — Directors Training Program, manage Learning Portals/avenues to improve user experience. The candidate will be expected to develop quality content for the existing and new programs and provide strong secretarial support to the Continuing Professional Development Committee.
The ideal candidate must have good communication and time management skills, with proficiency in data analytics and generating content and ideas. Should be a self-starter with a flair to close the projects timely as well as a strong team player. The candidate should be a Bachelor’s (having 16 years of qualification) with 4 years of experience or an MBA from HEC recognized university with 2 years of experience in a similar position.
