Vacancies Announced:
1. SENIOR MANAGER / MANAGER ACADEMICS – KARACHI
Key Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible to carry out education and research-related work and liaise with external researchers/educationists in order to ensure effective education delivery to the students.
The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 3 years post qualification experience or a master’s degree holder with at least 5 years post qualification research/educational experience. The candidate should have strong communication and report writing skills with a flair for analysis and research.
2. SENIOR MANAGER QUALITY ASSURANCE – ISLAMABAD
Key Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible to supervise and perform the Quality Control Review (OCR) in accordance with set policies & procedures and the 0.CR Framework, 2019. Oversee the preparation and review of draft reports of QUI for inviting comments from firms on the 0.CR observations. Attend meetings of the Quality Assurance Board (QAB) and discuss the observations with the QAB for its approval. Finalize reports for issuance to firms after QAB approval.
Qualified Chartered Accountant having a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience. He/she should have exposure to working in the Audit and Assurance function of the firm(s) and should possess practical knowledge of implementation of International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Corporate and other Laws along with strong communication and report writing skills.
3. MANAGER MEMBERSHIP AFFAIRS — KARACHI
Key Responsibilities: The candidate will be responsible to implement the departmental strategic plan and ensure intelligent data management of member-related information. Oversee smooth and efficient operations of the membership affairs and efficient handling of member queries for a quick resolution. Ensure automation of processes of the operations. Supervise the team in carrying out day-to-day functions of the membership department, review their work and ensure achievement of goals. Support in managing the work arising from relevant Committees and Council of the Institute including preparation of papers for submission. Execute inter-organizational communication in relation to the respective needs of coordination.
The ideal candidate could be a Professional Accounting Affiliate (ICAP) with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant working experience or individuals having completed an MBA or master’s from HEC recognized University/Institute with at least 4-5 years of relevant working experience in the midsize organization. Furthermore, candidates must possess strong interpersonal and management skills, a positive attitude, and a flair for problem-solving.
