National University of Sciences & Technology invites applications from qualified & experienced individuals for the following posts:
Positions Vacant:
1. Director ICT
Qualification / Experience: MS CS / MS Software Engg / MS IT System Management / MS Computer Engg from HEC recognized local / foreign university / institute. Ph.D. Computer System / Ph.D. Networks or related discipline from any HEC recognized university. Retired Armed Forces personnel (Brig or equivalent) with requisite experience are also eligible to apply. Twelve (12)years of experience with at least 7-10 years of progressive experience in a managerial position in any leading organization. Experience in the development and management of large Networks. ERP systems, CMS and Databases. Experience in IT systems implementation. management and operations. IT Project Management especially Software Development and implementation. Understanding of local and international data security standards.
Project management. Leadership and team-building. Ability to work across teams. Analytical/technical mindset. Ability to understand problems and take prompt decisions Ability to get things done efficiently and effectively. Demonstrate the ability to recruit and retain high-quality, ICT staff. Ability to work with multiple priorities projects at the same time and handle unexpected situations successfully.
2. Director l&C
Qualification / Experience: Master’s Degree in Business Administration from HEC recognized local/foreign university/institute. The individual having a Bachelor’s degree in Management. Computer Sciences or Engineering (any field of Engineering which is being taught at NUST). Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering (any field of Engineering which is being taught at NUST) from HEC recognized local/foreign university institute. Experience. 05 Years of Industrial experience. 10 Years of Industrial experience. Experience in patenting, licensing and / or formation of spin-out / startup companies should be essential.
Good Management Skills. Good Communication Skills. Leadership capabilities. Candidate should be experienced al negotiations and demonstrate an ability to interact with industry, funders and the academics community. Candidate should carry a well-rounded approach and view on principals on technology transfer, Commercialization, and technology incubation.
