Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) apex body of the ministry of ITÂ Telecommunication is responsible for the development and capacity building of the IT & ITeS sector in Pakistan for ensuring accelerated export growth and its IT & ITeS industry globally. PSEB require the services of the dynamic and high caliber management executive for the following director-level post that are strictly performance-based and target achievement-oriented. Employment will be on a contract basis.

1. Director Skills and Capacity Development
Reports to: Chief Industry Development Officer (CIDO). PSEB Work Location: Islamabad (occasional travel, as and when required) About the
Role: The incumbent to work closely with CIDO on the planning, development, and execution of projects and programs for skills development and capacity building of the IT & ITeS sector, including training/certifications, internships, company level certifications, Made in Pakistan & localization initiatives, etc. Responsible for building strong industry-academia linkages and actively engaging relevant government and private sector organizations to create a collaborative environment and synergies for the development of the IT & ITeS sector. Qualification & Experience: Minimum 16 years of education in engineering, computer sciences, or management disciplines from 1-IEC recognized local or international University, preferably with a higher degree in management, engineering management, or business administration.
Qualification / Experience: Minimum 16 years of education in engineering, computer sciences, or management disciplines from HEC-recognized local or international Universities. preferably with a higher degree in management, engineering management, or business administration. Minimum 7 years of experience in Public Sector initiatives preferably building and managing skills development programs or like Public Sector programs. Candidate should also have the ability to understand stakeholders and the eco-system of IT/ITES & Freelance sectors in-line with the strategic vision of the Federal Government’s ongoing initiatives. The ability to understand and resolve complex emerging scenarios with Public / Private stakeholders of the IT/ITES’ eco-system will also be preferred.
