Positions Announced:
1. Director BS – 20 / 21
15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized universities or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. OR 10 years Post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or International organization
Note: Upper age limit 55 years (relaxable by two years by the competent authority on recommendation of the Selection Board). In the first instance, the candidates who fulfill the criteria laid down for the post of Professor by HEC would be considered and candidates selected from among them would be appointed as Director in BS-21. In case. no candidate meets the requirements prescribed for the post of Professor, then, the candidates who fulfill the criteria set for the post of Associate Professor by HEC would be considered and the selected candidate would be appointed as Director in BS-20. The appointment would be made for the tenure of four years. If the selected candidate does not belong to the center the appointment would be made either on deputation or on a contract basis. Candidates are required to provide the following information in addition to filling an online application form.

It is mandatory for candidates to deposit a fee of Rs.5000/- in any Branch of HBL or UBL. The fee must be deposited on the prescribed challan form to be generated online and the original receipt must be provided along with a hard copy of the application form. No Bank Draft or Pay Order or Cheque or any such instrument will be accepted as fee by the University Applications forms received without fee deposit receipts shall be rejected. NOTE: The advertisement can be viewed on www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk and wviw.pu.edu.plc/careers. It must be noted that all posts will be filled according to the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training/University of the Punjab criteria. The hard copies of online application form, complete in all respect, should reach the office of the Registrar (Human Resource Branch, Admin. Block, Room No.19), University of the Punjab Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore. during office hours, within 6 days of the closing date of advertisement through registered post. No application shall be received by hand.
