Positions Vacant: 

1. Research Associate (Fresh Ph.D.) Eq to Assistant Professor

Name of the Project: Evaluation of enhanced efficiency nitrogenous fertilizers for NH3 and N20 emissions in a rice-wheat cropping system on normal and marginal salt-affected soil.

Qualification / Experience required for the following position: Fresh Ph.D. Soil Science / Environmental Sciences

2. Research Associate

Qualification / Experience required for the following position: Ph.D. scholar at UAF/Post-doc, in biological sciences, willing to work on biochar field experiments, wastewater cultivated edible crops, sampling of human excreta for biological determinants of gastroenteritis, the experience of handling microbial samples from human waste will be preferred.

3. Research Assistant 

Qualification / Experience required for the following position: M.Sc. (Hons.) /M. Phil Scholar at UAF in Biological Sciences, Agronomy, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, etc. will work on biochar field experiments, wastewater cultivated edible crops, sampling of human excreta for biological determinants of gastroenteritis, the experience of handling microbial samples from human waste will be preferred.

Name of the Project: Quantifying the transmission routes of gastroenteritis in Pakistan and developing targeted interventions

4. Engineer (Full Time)

Name of the Project: Sustainable Agricultural Production System in Urban Areas by using CNC Kitchen Gardening Robot

Qualification / Experience required for the following position: BS/MS in Mechatronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or Equivalent from HEC & PEC recognized Universities. Strong Knowledge of Computer-aided Design or control systems. Proficiency with C++/Python.

5. Fellowship / Stipend

Name of the Project: Design, development, and computational modeling of solar-assisted cold storage system for the preservation of perishables agriculture products

Qualification / Experience required for the following position: B.Sc. Energy Systems Engineering or currently enrolled in M.Sc (Hons.) Energy Systems Engineering
