Job Description:
Government of the Punjab Archives & Libraries Wing, S&GAD, Punjab Civil Secretariat Lahore invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates to fill the following vacant posts mentioned as follows: The appointments will be made on the basis of the contract appointment policy, 2004 of the Government of Punjab. There will be general relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit for males and 8 years for females. The Upper age limit will be counted up to the closing date of receipt of applications. Appointments will be made on contract basis for 3 years. Department is authorized to alter the number of posts without any notice. Candidates who are applying for these vacant jobs must possess the Domicile of the Punjab province.

1. Cataloger (Record Office)
Scale: BS – 10
No of posts: 01 post
Age Limit: 18 – 25 years
Qualification / Experience: Intermediate (2nd Division) from a recognized Board having a certificate of Library Science or 6 months experience in any Library.
2. Cataloger (Library)
Scale: BS – 08
No of posts: 01 post
Age Limit: 18 – 25 years
Qualification / Experience: Intermediate (2nd Division) from a recognized Board having a certificate of Library Science or 6 months experience in any Library.
3. Assistant Librarian
Scale: BS – 08
No of posts: 01 post
Age Limit: 18 – 25 years
Qualification / Experience: Intermediate (2nd Division) from a recognized Board having a certificate of Library Science or 6 months of practical experience in any Library.
Note: The appointments will be made on the basis of the contract appointment policy, 2004 of the Government of Punjab.
