The Government of Punjab has established the Punjab Mass transit Authority under an Act for the purposes of construction, operation and maintenance of mass transit system in major cities of Punjab for providing safe efficient and comfortable urban transportation system The authority has its established office in Lahore The Transport Department Government of Punjab requires the services of Managing Director on urgent basis. Positions Vacant:
1. MANAGING DIRECTOR
Job Description: The Managing Director shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority and shall, be a whole-time officer of the Authority He /she shall perform such duties as may be assigned to him /her and exercise such powers as may be delegated to him/ her by the Authority.
Term and Duration of the appointment: Three (3) years. The Government has the right to extend the term of office of Managing Director for such period as the Government may determine.
Qualification and experience required for the following vacant position: The candidate must hold Masters’s Degree. The candidate should possess at least 20 years of experience in management in the public or private sector.
Age limit required for the following vacant job: The age limit required for the following job is less than 65 years.
Pay and Salary Package: MP – 1
