Job Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of the provisions of Companies Act 2017, especially Code of Corporate Governance, and Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules issued by SECP. Excellent written / drafting and verbal communication skills. Should be able to prepare and disseminate the Board working papers and accurately capture its proceedings in the minutes of the meeting. Should effectively follow-up with the concerned departments to ensure compliance with the Board directives. Should be able to liaise with the relevant regulatory bodies especially SECP and ensure that affairs of the company are managed in accordance with provisions of the Companies Act 2017 and Corporate Governance Rules and that all regulatory requirements are met in time.
Qualification and experience required for the following vacant positions: The applicants must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria as laid down by SECP. Member of a recognized body of professional accountants; or Member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries; or Person holding a masters’ degree in business administration or commerce or being a law graduate from a university recognized by the HEC with at least five years relevant experience. Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience.
