Positions Vacant:
1. Donor Expert Foreign Aid / International Development
Qualification and experience required for the following vacant position: Ph.D. degree in social sciences including but not limited to development studies, economics, global communications, international relations, from an internationally recognized institution. Demonstrated experience in undertaking qualitative social research and evaluation activities with publications in international journals. Demonstrated experience in undertaking quantitative social research including survey design, statistical analysis, collation of information. Experience in working in international organizations on donor-funded projects. Understanding of KP Government planning projects and policies relevant to this position, and/or the ability to seek out or establish links with current relevant projects. Highly developed skills in oral and written communication. Proficient in relevant computer software and the use of database and spreadsheet programs including Microsoft Excel, and statistical analysis software such as SPSS. Proficient in managing time and competing priorities, and planning work to achieve a broad range of outcomes in the most efficient way possible. Demonstrated ability to participate in project teams and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
