Punjab Revenue Authority invites applications from suitable Legal Practitioner/Law Firms having ample knowledge of taxation laws for hiring on case to case basis and/or at mutually agreed terms. The scope of work is to tender legal advice and written opinions. To represent and appear in legal proceedings on behalf of PRA. To prepare para wise replies, grounds of appeal, and other admissible court documents. General Instructions: Only those candidates/firms should apply who fulfill the eligibility criteria. Only short-listed candidates/principals/partners of law firms would be called for test/interview. No TA / DA will be admissible for test/interview. 1. Legal Practitioners / Law Firms
Qualifications and Experience required for the following individual practitioners): LLB/LLM or Bar-at-law preferably from a recognized foreign university. The applicant must be enrolled as an advocate of the High Court/Supreme Court of Pakistan. The applicant, in the case of Advocate High Court, must have practicing experience of a minimum of five years in tax, service, and constitutional matters. Demonstrable experience in taxation laws especially sales tax, through reported judgments.
Qualifications and Experience (for law firms): Law firm should have been established for at least five years. Must have demonstrable experience of working. in public/ private sector providing legal advice, consultancies, and advocacy before courts. Must have demonstrable experience in dealing with taxation, service, and constitutional cases.
